Things To Do In cache Valley This Summer
1. The Logan Summerfest
A longstanding tradition of Logan, the Summerfest is an art festival that we’ve been doing for 40 years now. It will be happening this weekend (June 13-15). You can enjoy various activities and visit stalls with all kinds of artistic goods to buy. Admission is free and there are over 160 different artists gathered to show off their skills.
2. Summer Classes and Camps
Cache Valley values education, arts, and wholesome activities. There are a variety of summer programs available that you can sign up for over the summer. Cache Valley Family Magazine has complied a list to see what’s on offer.
3. Visit A Museum
There are numerous museums around the valley that you can visit, from the American West Heritage Center, to the Nora Eccles Harrison art museum. There are plenty of things to learn and interesting things to see. Here is a list of the local museums you can visit.
4. Cache Valley Kids Market
Located at the East Park in Hyrum, the Kids Market is a local market run by kids, selling products made by kids. Come see whats on offer every Saturday this June and July.
5. Zootah
Cache Valley’s non-profit zoo, located next to the Cache Valley Fairgrounds, hosts a variety of educational camps and classes across the summer. Visit their website to check them out.
6. Logan Canyon Hiking
If you’re looking to get some great exercise, Logan Canyon has a number of trails you can follow. Check out some great sights and get in shape doing so!
7. The Logan Aquatic Center
If you enjoy swimming and other water related activities, the Logan Aquatic Center is a great place. It’s been open since May and will continue to be open until the fall. During the summer, they hold special activities, or will allow you to schedule one. Check it out!
